Goal

Create an Original + Fresh Logo

Concept

The client had a specific concept in mind when they approached me for the creation of a new logo. They expressed that they were looking for a logo that had an original image, as their previous logo had an image that was not copywrite protected. They wanted something similar but updated and fresh. I fully understood their concerns and wanted to ensure that the new logo not only met their requirements but also accurately represented their brand. I started by researching their current logo and analyzing what made it of importance to the brand. From there, I developed a range of concepts that met their brief and presented these to the client. After taking on board their feedback, I was able to create an original logo that was aligned with their brand needs while also providing an update that captured the essence of their previous brand image. It was rewarding to see the happiness that my work brought the client and how proud they were to have a new, original logo that they now own the rights to.

Original Logo

The client was happy with the layout of the text on their existing logo, but I suggested using a sans serif font to give it a more contemporary look. Additionally, the illustration of the wolf needed to be original since it had been downloaded from a website and was not copyright protected. By creating a new, unique image of the wolf, we were able to give the logo a fresh, updated feel while maintaining the recognizable elements that made it important to the brand.

Final Logo

After presenting several options to the client, we worked together to finalize this as the official logo design. They expressed that they only required a color and black/white version, which we were able to provide while still maintaining a cohesive and impactful design. Additionally, I suggested using the logo as an icon, as it was simple yet memorable, and could be easily recognizable across various platforms and marketing materials. The client was pleased with the final result and felt that it accurately represented their brand.
